Job Description
Our client, a specialist ergonomic seating manufacturer, is seeking a Business Development Executive to represent their brand and solutions to clients across various industries. This role is ideal for someone passionate about workplace wellbeing and driven to close deals. As the Business Development Executive, you will be the primary point of contact, building and managing relationships with procurement, HR, facilities, and design professionals. Your responsibilities will include delivering bespoke ergonomic seating solutions tailored to meet specific client needs, actively participating in trade shows, fit-out consultations, and workplace wellbeing events to showcase the company's offerings. Collaboration with the marketing team is crucial to align campaigns with the overall sales strategy. Maintaining accurate records and effectively managing the sales pipeline through CRM tools is also important. Additionally, the role involves supporting and expanding existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling strategies, as well as staying abreast of the latest trends in ergonomics, health-focused design, and overall wellness. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B sales, excellent communication skills, a self-starter attitude, and a keen interest in ergonomics and workplace wellbeing. Requirements
  • Experience in B2B sales (office furniture, corporate wellness, fit-out, or consultancy experience is ideal)
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills
  • A self-starter attitude with strong organisation and time management
  • Confidence in presenting to clients both virtually and in person
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot is a bonus)
  • A keen interest in ergonomics, occupational health, or workplace wellbeing
  • Build and manage relationships with procurement, HR, facilities, and design professionals
  • Deliver bespoke ergonomic seating solutions based on client needs
  • Attend trade shows, fit-out consultations, and workplace wellbeing events
  • Collaborate with marketing to align campaigns with sales strategy
  • Maintain accurate records and sales pipeline using CRM tools
  • Support and grow existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling
  • Stay ahead of trends in ergonomics, health-focused design, and wellness
