Job Description

A high-end kitchen manufacturer with more than 70 years of heritage is opening its flagship interior design showroom in London, and is looking for a Prospecting Sales Representative to build its presence in the capital.

Originally known for kitchens, the brand now designs for the whole day area of the home, working from the principle that every person is unique and so are the spaces they live in. Already well established across Europe, the UK is the next chapter — and this role is central to it.

This is a genuine business development position. You will take the range out to architectural practices, interior designers, design offices, estate agencies and construction brokers across London, building a network of specifiers from the ground up and earning trust in a competitive, design-led market.

What you will be doing:

  • Prospecting and business development across the London area — phoning, emailing and face-to-face visits
  • Understanding the commercial challenges of the professionals you meet, and positioning the brand as the solution
  • Identifying live projects through consistent market monitoring and your contact network, and finding the decision-maker on each one
  • Building and maintaining a file of prescribers and specifiers
  • Negotiating new agreements and following projects right through to signature
  • Providing technical advice and support in line with construction industry regulation
  • Supporting showroom and trade events alongside the Communication & Marketing team
  • Weekly reporting to your manager
  • This is a full-time permanent contract based at the West End showroom, with all business travel costs covered by the company. It suits someone who wants to be early into a brand's UK launch and have a visible hand in how it lands.

      Requirements
      • At least 2 years' successful experience in prospecting and managing long sales cycles
      • Education in business, international trade or interior architecture
      • Knowledge of interior design is an advantage
      • Strong people skills, self-driven, with good organisational ability
      • A good listener who is proactive, fast-working and adaptable
      • Committed, and a quick learner
      Benefits
      • Full-time permanent contract
      • Commission on top of the basic salary
      • All business travel costs covered by the company
      • Central London (West End) showroom
      • Join an established European design brand at the launch of its UK flagship
