Job Description
I am recruiting a Business Development Manager for a leading workplace furniture dealership in London. It is B Corp certified, with a strong commitment to ESG, diversity and equal opportunity.
The job is to win commercial workplace projects, and to get in early. You will build relationships with end-user clients, interior designers, project managers and the wider workplace decision-making community, identifying opportunities at strategy, concept and design stage and influencing specification ahead of formal tender wherever possible. You will work closely with the Business Development Director on major workplace projects.
The role covers the full opportunity cycle: prospecting and networking to find workplace projects, mapping the decision makers and influencers around priority opportunities, building pursuit strategies, and converting qualified opportunities into profitable business. You will use presentations, workshops, studio visits and other engagements to demonstrate the business's capabilities, and maintain awareness of relevant relocations, refurbishments and workplace transformation programmes.
Success is measured on sales targets, win rates and results, with a consistent pipeline of identified opportunities managed through the CRM.
