Job Description
A Customer Service / Sales Support Representative is required to support the sales team across three UK locations. Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, you will have responsibility for supporting the sales team day to day. The role is based at the London EC1A office or the Customer Experience Centre in Rainham, RM13, and you must be willing to visit both sites. You will raise quotations and purchase orders for clients, put together cost plans, produce furniture presentation documents and handle customer requests and telephone queries. You will also maintain customer relationships, support logistical planning, keep project files in order and attend client meetings when needed.
Requirements
  • Experience of the furniture industry (essential)
  • Working in a busy, varied environment with exposure to pressurised sales support, ideally in a furniture dealer or manufacturer
  • Experience in sales support within the interior sector (desirable)
  • Exposure to sales support databases
  • Numerate, with good working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • The capability to learn and master new order management systems
  • Experience communicating with all levels of people, including clients and suppliers
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Proactive, flexible and confident, with excellent communication and time-management skills
  • The ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
